AquaScan is based on a patented counting principle which gives both high capacity and accuracy. The fish flows freely through a pipe and passes an advanced camera/measuring system which will register the size and speed of the passing fish. The resulting data is then transmitted to a control unit which may handle as many as 4 channels (e.g. during grading) simultaneously.

The counter is not dependent on the fish passing one by one. When several fish pass simultaneously the control unit software will utilise a continuously updated mean for calculation. The robust and reliable electronics of the system will always provide the total number of fish passing through the unit

The advanced patented AquaScan imaging technology
measuring the fish movement, size and speed is used to give an accurate count of the number of fish passing. It is not necessary to have any space between the fish passing simultaneously.

Contrary to other counting systems this system is not dependent on any space between the passing fish. It is this feature that gives the AquaScan fish counter a virtually unlimited capacity and high accuracy.
AquaScan is easy to use and suitable for direct fishpump or grading machine feeding.
